Why We Tee Off

For almost 70 years, Prevent Blindness Texas has provided critical vision care to Texas’s most vulnerable citizens by providing early detection screening services, eye health education, navigation services, and financial resources for exams, glasses, and other treatment needs. We focus on vulnerable and under-served populations most at risk for possible vision problems.

We work to build strong continuums of care in each community we serve so that all children and adults have improved equity to access quality eye care. We know that vision critically impacts learning and development, mobility, independence, and health. We advocate for the necessary attention and solutions to issues surrounding the aging eye, and we define success when all individuals who need eye-care receive it. Our work improves the health and quality of life for thousands of individuals across the state.

PBT’s goal in offering sponsorships is to underwrite event expenses through both sponsorship and in-kind contributions. This ensures more money can go directly to our mission to prevent blindness and preserve sight.

CHAMPION SPONSOR $10,000

  • Exclusive opportunity to be the Presenting Sponsor. Company’s name referenced in all mentions of event title. “Tee Off to Prevent Blindness presented by Company’s Name.”

  • Three Foursomes.

PGA SPONSOR $1,500

  • One Foursome.
  • Company name will appear on event materials and promotion.
  • Recognition on sponsor course signage.
  • Includes breakfast, lunch, 2 mulligans and 1 drink ticket per golfer.

GOLF TOWEL SPONSOR $1,000 (one available)

  • Company name or logo will be included on tournament golf towel.

BEVERAGE CART SPONSOR $1,000 (two available)

  • Company name or logo will be on event signage and on beverage cart.

VENDOR SPONSOR $500 (seventeen available)

  • Vendor to set up/breakdown and provides chairs and tent. Golf course will provide one table. (Tent rental available for a fee through the golf course.)
  • Sign on golf course.

HOLE SPONSOR $250 (eighteen available)

  • Company name will be included on sign by the tee box on golf course.
