The “Sight for Students” Program is VSP Vision Care’s national charity program that provides FREE EYE EXAMS AND EYEGLASSES, when prescribed, to those children who qualify. Last year, Prevent Blindness Texas helped 938 children received a comprehensive eye exam and corrective lenses, if needed, through the “Sight for Students” Program.

In order for a child to qualify for the program, there are certain eligibility criteria that must be met. If the child is eligible, Prevent Blindness Texas will issue a “Sight for Students” gift certificate along with a list of VSP doctors in the area. All VSP doctors accept “Sight for Students” gift certificates, so the family can pick the doctor that’s right for their child.
